Canelo Alvarez Vs Dmitry Bivol
With a defining performance Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Dmitry Bivol of Tokmak, Kyrgyzstan gave Canelo Alvarez his second professional defeat since losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr in 2013.
The Mexican veteran was clearly outboxed by Bivol, proving the cliché that a bigger good fighter usually overcomes a smaller good opponent.

According to Compubox, Bivol, a 5-1 underdog, has fired 710 blows to Canelo’s 495. Bivol landed 152 of them against Canelo’s 84. Bivol landed 106 power blows to Canelo’s 74, however Canelo connected with 43 more body shots than Bivol (15).
Bivol, 31, is undefeated with a 20-0 record and 11 victories inside the ring.
